Zmudri.sk is an informal educational practice aimed at students under 15 years old. The program is linked to multiple school subjects, including Biology, Foreign Languages, History, Ecology, Economics, Ethics, Financial Literacy, Geography, Informatics, Mathematics, Media Education, Citizenship Education, Slovak Language, Homeroom Class, Arts and Culture, Educational/Career Counselling, Teacher Education, and Basics of Legal Education. Its main objective is to develop students’ entrepreneurial, financial, digital, and civic competencies while fostering creativity, social responsibility, critical thinking, and personal well-being.

Key activities and Student Experience

Students participate in a variety of interactive activities, including competitions, workshops, entrepreneurship lessons, debates, brainstorming sessions, company visits, educational songs, and online courses covering topics such as: How politics works, How to study better, Future career, Future school, Digital security, Mental health, Financial literacy & economics, Other, Critical thinking & hoaxes, Maturita, Modern Slovak history, Songs, Social media (related to finance), Soft skills & productivity, Your rights, You as a responsible citizen, Teacher training. These activities encourage students to explore practical entrepreneurial scenarios, discuss real-life examples, and engage in collaborative projects. Through these experiences, students develop key entrepreneurial competencies such as valuing ideas, ethical and sustainable thinking, self-awareness and self-efficacy, motivation and perseverance, financial and economic literacy, teamwork, and learning through experience. They also enhance 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity, and decision-making.
