Entreprenuership and my skils

Entrepreneurship and My Skills is an educational practice implemented in Slovakia for students in grades 4-8 of primary school (ages 10-15). It is embedded in formal education and integrated into core subjects such as Slovak language, mathematics, informatics, and geography. The practice focuses on developing entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and attitudes through case-based and experiential learning. The main objective is to cultivate entrepreneurial thinking by helping students recognize business opportunities and understand the value of ideas and self-development.

Students participate in activities that include watching educational videos on financial literacy, engaging in business-themed quizzes, and analyzing real-life case studies of successful entrepreneurs. They reflect on entrepreneurial journeys, read business stories, and engage in classroom debates. Key competencies fostered include spotting opportunities, valuing ideas, ethical and sustainable thinking, and learning through experience.
